Mya recently completed her Master of Physical Therapy at the University of Saskatchewan after earning her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology.
Originally from Saskatchewan, she developed a strong interest in physiotherapy through her background as a former competitive dancer. This sparked her curiosity about movement, injury prevention, and rehabilitation. During her undergraduate degree, she also worked as a student trainer with the Women’s Soccer and Basketball teams, further growing her passion for movement and rehabilitation.
Mya takes a patient-centred approach to care, focusing on building strong therapeutic relationships and creating a supportive, comfortable environment. She believes in treating the whole person and integrates education, exercise, and hands-on therapy to help individuals achieve their goals and return to the activities that matter most to them.
Outside of the clinic, Mya enjoys staying active, taking dance classes, reading, and exploring new restaurants around the GTA.
